Nice game!
I had a little difficulty adjusting to the controls.
I think they would work more intuitively if instead of left/right for the spaceship, we could use WASD to move in each of the 4 directions.
Loved the music!
Working on a configuration screen right now. At least making Left/Right vs Up/Down an option.
But I’m not sure about allowing too much movement. Part of it is the limitations in avoiding enemy projectiles. But I’ll experiment a little bit with your WASD idea..

My suggestion then, to restrict the movement, is to use A and S (up and down), so it's easier to grasp, since the movement is mostly vertical.
Anyway, great demo! Congrats!
